Hey! I’m Lucy.

I live in Manchester with my partner and our 2 sons.

My 2 little boys birth’s gave me a whole new perspective on women, antenatal care and education, labour and birth, and everything in between.

I love everything about birth and supporting women and their birth partners during pregnancy.

I’ve seen it both ways, my first baby was born via emergency c-section following an induction, that I now know could have been avoided. It was filled with lots of intervention that I did not want, and I felt powerless during the experience. When I found out I was pregnant with my 2nd baby, I knew it needed to be different this time.

So, I invested in building the strongest birth team possible, carving out time to intentionally prepare for the birth I was dreaming of, and gave birth to my 2nd baby boy, in a home VBAC that I so badly needed.

Aside from birthy things, you’ll find me outside with my boys, watching football, reading or baking. But let’s be honest, once you have a dreamy birth, it seeps its way into most conversations, so birth talk is never too far away!
